Kirsten Brooks - Expert Nutritionist
Kirsten Brooks trained with the esteemed Plaskett College for Nutritional Medicine, qualifying with distinction in 2004 and since then she has continued to keep up to date with the latest developments in the nutritional field, having completed a BSc Honors degree with a London university in Nutritional Medicine.
Kirsten is a member of the professional body the CThA and the Nutritional Therapy Council. As well as her busy practice, Kirsten is a nutritional consultant for a company in London part-time.
On a personal note, Kirsten has always had a passion for food as well as an interest in its impact on health. When advice from a nutritionist many years ago enabled her to overcome her own health complaints that could not be helped with conventional medicine, it encouraged Kirsten to train to become a practitioner herself. She feels convinced of the huge benefits of nutritional therapy, having since helped many people to improve their own well-being. And as a mother herself, she also gets particular pleasure from helping new mums & children with their diet and well-being. Kirsten believes that many of today's chronic illnesses are preventable and treatable with good nutrition and that nutritional medicine is the medicine of the future.
